Promoting Unity and Service in the Atlanta Community

Son of Mary is a non-profit grassroots effort dedicated to promoting Shia ithnia Ashari fundamentals, spreading dawah, and inviting the greater Atlanta metropolitan community to explore the beauty and modernity of Islam while respecting and removing cultural barriers.

At the core of Son of Mary’s mission is the belief in the power of service and activism. Through various ministries of education and literacy, charity work, social services and justice, healthcare, and economic development, Son of Mary aims to bridge the gap between different schools of thought in Islam and other religions.

The goal of Son of Mary is to create an institution that unifies diverse perspectives and removes divisive definitions. By doing so, the teachings of the Holy Prophet can be understood as the universal message that Allah (swt) intended.

Promoting Shia ithnia Ashari Fundamentals

Son of Mary strives to promote the fundamentals of Shia ithnia Ashari within the Atlanta community. By organizing events, lectures, and discussions, Son of Mary aims to educate individuals about the core beliefs and practices of this branch of Islam.

Spreading Dawah and Invitation to Islam
